| 26th April 2016Quintessential Brands is delighted to announce that Berkeley Square London Dry Gin has been awarded a Gold Medal at the highly respected International Spirits Challenge 2016, now in its 21st year.The judging took place in London, with rigorous blind tastings by an expert panel of judges, including many of the world’s Master Gin Distillers. Gold Medals were only awarded to four gins. There were more than 1,300 spirit entries from nearly 70 countries worldwide.

Berkeley Square London Dry Gin is considered one of the most luxurious gins in the world. Distilled in small batches using botanicals wrapped in cotton muslin and steeped in triple distilled spirit, Berkeley Square is smooth enough to be enjoyed neat and makes a world-class Martini.
Handcrafted in a baby copper pot still No. 8, Berkeley Square Gin is a complex gin of exceptional quality distilled with care at the world’s oldest gin distillers by the Master Distiller, who has over 250 years of distilling expertise. With herbaceous notes of kaffir lime leaves, sage, basil and lavender, Berkeley Square is made with the purest of water filtered through ancient Cheshire pebble beds.
Berkeley Square Gin is named after the famous Mayfair square in London, rich in history and popular with the gentry and literati who have lived around the square over the centuries. The lion’s head on the bottle was inspired by the heavy door knockers on the Georgian houses around Berkeley Square itself and reinforce the luxurious nature of the gin.
