BLOOM GIN LAUNCHES FIRST ACTIVATION IN GLOBAL TRAVEL RETAIL

Quintessential Brands, the international drinks group and owner of BLOOM Gin, has launched its first travel retail BLOOM Gin activation at Gatwick Airport in conjunction with World Duty Free, one of the world’s leading travel retailers.  Since its launch in European travel retail last year in its new packaging, BLOOM Gin’s distribution and popularity have grown, resulting in this joint activation at Gatwick South Terminal for the month of May.  BLOOM is now distributed throughout World Duty Free and Heinemann estates and available on many leading airlines and ferries.

BLOOM Gin is the number six premium gin in the UK and its distinctly delicate and feminine look and feel is like none other in the global travel retail market. Inspired by the ‘true beauty of nature’ and created by Master Distiller Joanne Moore with floral botanicals of chamomile and honeysuckle, BLOOM appeals to non-gin drinkers and gin aficionados alike.  The floral inspired bar is eye-catching and has impressive stand out in the World Duty Free retail area of Gatwick South Departures.

The activation will run from 3rd May until the end of May 2017 and BLOOM Gin 1 litre bottles will be on sale for £30.99.

Oliver Storrie, Global Travel Retail Manager Quintessential Brands, says: “We’re delighted to be launching our first BLOOM Gin travel retail activation in partnership with World Duty Free. Gatwick South Terminal is one of the busiest terminals in the UK and we’re sure travellers will enjoy tasting the signature serve of BLOOM Gin & Tonic with strawberries at the BLOOM Gin bar.  As a result of the promotion, sales of BLOOM Gin have far exceeded our expectations and targets on a campaign of this nature.”

NOTES TO EDITORS

BLOOM Gin has won many awards and medals for its taste and quality, including a Double Gold at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
