With flavoured gin continuing to grow and expected to be a big winner in the spirits aisle once again this summer, BLOOM Gin is proud to unveil its latest Fruit and Floral Fusions, BLOOM Passion Fruit & Vanilla Blossom Gin and BLOOM Raspberry & Rose Gin, each inspired by some of the hottest flavour trends in the cocktail scene.
Launching exclusively in Tesco in May, BLOOM Passion Fruit & Vanilla Blossom Gin is inspired by the UK’s most popular cocktail, the Pornstar Martini, while BLOOM Raspberry & Rose Gin takes inspiration from the popular Raspberry Mojito cocktail, balancing fruit and floral flavours to offer a more sophisticated alternative to other pink gins currently on the market.
BLOOM Passion Fruit & Vanilla Blossom Gin and BLOOM Raspberry & Rose Gin both feature sweet fruits and subtle florals, resulting in a smooth, fruity and floral taste, created without the addition of sugar or sweeteners.
Flavoured gins are continuing to attract shoppers and add significant value, growing by £82million in the off-trade in 2019. With this growth set to continue, retailers can expect to reap the benefits this summer by stocking new flavours that are in line with consumer trends.
BLOOM Gin is also revamping its bottle label design across its Fruit and Floral Fusions, making their exciting flavour combinations clearer to consumers. While the label design of BLOOM’s Original London Dry Gin will remain the same, the labels of its Fruit and Floral Fusions will now feature illustrations of the fruits and florals included in each flavour. BLOOM Gin hopes this will help the range to achieve further stand-out on shelf.
At launch, each of BLOOM Gin’s new Fruit & Floral Fusions range will feature neck tags showcasing BLOOM Gin’s signature cocktail serves, including its reduced calorie Passion Fruit Martini and Raspberry Mojito, showcasing the versatility of each of the gins and providing inspiration for consumers who want to experiment with them at home.
The launch of BLOOM Passion Fruit & Vanilla Blossom Gin and BLOOM Raspberry & Rose Gin will be supported by an integrated marketing campaign throughout 2020 to drive consumer awareness and desire for the two new expressions.
