BLOOM Gin Ladies Cocktail Competition launches

BLOOM Gin is delighted to announce the launch of the inaugural BLOOM Gin Ladies Bartender Competition to be held at the London Marriott Hotel County Hall on 28th April 2014, in association with the United Kingdom Bartenders Guild (UKBG).
The competition is open to all female bartenders in the UK and will take place at the London Marriott Hotel County Hall in Waterloo on Monday 28th April. The competition takes its Inspired by Nature theme from floral botanicals used in the production of BLOOM Gin which include honeysuckle, chamomile and pomelo. The world’s first female gin distiller, Joanne Moore created BLOOM Gin, taking her inspiration from English country gardens. The judges joining Master Distiller Joanne include Sandrae Lawrence from The Cocktail Lovers, Su-Lin Ong from Slo-London and Becky Paskin, editor of The Spirits Business.
The winner will be awarded a weekend break in the countryside plus the opportunity to showcase their drink at the BLOOM Ladies Polo Championship at Cowdray Park on 19th July.

BLOOM Gin is a premium London Dry Gin, inspired by Master Distiller Joanne Moore’s English country garden. Joanne, the world’s first female Master Gin Distiller, wanted to create a delicate, floral gin, particularly suited to the female palette, and took inspiration from the flowers in her own garden.
Joanne used honeysuckle and chamomile and added the citrus fruit pomelo to make up the three key botanicals for BLOOM – each one contributing to the delicate gin drinking experience.
