The Cowdray Vikings were victorious against the GMW Marketing polo team at the BLOOM Gin British Ladies Open Polo Championship trophy played at Cowdray Park this Saturday, 19th July.
This is the third year running that BLOOM Gin has sponsored the championship and reflects the growing interest in women’s polo in the UK.
It was a quintessentially English day with spectators watching the exciting match which ended with a 6 – 5 score to the Cowdray Vikings, with prizes presented by Enzo Visone, Chairman of Quintessential Brands, owners of BLOOM Gin and Carolyn Scott, wife of Quintessential Brands Director, Warren Scott.
BLOOM Gin and Tonics, with a signature garnish of strawberries, and the competition-winning BLOOM Treasure Cocktail were served to over 200 VIP guests and BLOOM Gin was presented to all of the competitors.

Joanne, the world’s first female Master Gin Distiller, wanted to create a delicate, floral gin, particularly suited to the female palette, and took inspiration from the flowers in her own garden. Joanne used honeysuckle and chamomile and added the citrus fruit pomelo to make up the three key botanicals for BLOOM – each one contributing to the delicate gin drinking experience.
