GET READY TO LIVE FULL BLOOM! BLOOM BECOMES OFFICIAL GIN OF BARCLAYCARD PRESENTS BST HYDE PARK

BLOOM Gin is set to bring its unique blend of style, substance and sass to life this summer as it launches its first-ever global marketing campaign, Live Full BLOOM, at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park, where the fast-growing premium gin brand is today revealed as the festival’s new official gin partner.

Loved by fans for its sophisticated style, delicious flavours and smooth taste, BLOOM has created a striking BLOOM bar, which is set to be the bar destination for thousands of festivalgoers at Barclaycard presents BST Hyde Park, taking centre stage in the festival’s Village Green.

Visitors to the bar can enjoy a range of delicious and highly Instagrammable cocktails, made from BLOOM’s much-loved, sugar-free gins, BLOOM Original and BLOOM Jasmine & Rose Pink Gin, and its popular flavoured gin liqueurs, BLOOM Strawberry and BLOOM Lemon & Elderflower.

The brand will also be encouraging visitors to live life to the full with interactive entertainment, experiences and social media competitions throughout the festival. Full details will be revealed through the brand’s Instagram channel in the run-up to the festival, which starts on 5th July and runs until 14th July.

The Live Full BLOOM campaign will extend far beyond the festival with digital and out of home media investment bringing additional brand visibility to consumers in the Central London area during the festival. Fans of the brand will also have an opportunity to win tickets to a Barclaycard presents BST Hyde Park concert through a link-up with media partner, Stylist, in the weeks running up to the festival.

With its sponsorship of Barclaycard presents BST Hyde Park and recent presence at London’s Mighty Hoopla and Cross the Tracks, BLOOM is tapping into the lucrative opportunity festivals bring for drinks brands, estimated to be worth £100m[1], for the first time.

“This is our first year on the festival scene, but it’s such a natural fit for us”, comments Elaine Maher, Brand Director, at brand owner, Quintessential Brands. “Festivalgoers today are a completely different breed to those of the 90s – they see festivals as an opportunity to forget their everyday stresses, get their glamour and glitter on, and just really let loose with their friends and have the best time possible. That’s something that we as a brand can totally relate to and want to celebrate. In today’s world, it’s all too easy to get bogged down in the stresses of work and not make time for family, friends, passions and ambitions. With Live Full BLOOM, we aim to encourage people to embrace life, get the balance right and enjoy what makes them happy, so what better place to launch this than at one of the UK’s biggest festivals, Barclaycard presents BST Hyde Park!”

BLOOM Gin launched in 2009 and has since gone on to become a 117k 9l case brand, with growing presence internationally in markets including Global Travel Retail, the Netherlands and the US. Created by renowned Master Distiller, Joanne Moore, the range contains sugar-free varietals, BLOOM Original, and BLOOM Jasmine & Rose, which has been a huge global hit since launching last year. Gin Liqueurs, BLOOM Strawberry and BLOOM Lemon & Elderflower complete the range, which is now a top 10 premium gin brand in the UK[2].
