Greenall’s Sicilian Lemon Joins Range of Popular Gin RTD’s

News Release

Warrington – 18 April 2016
Greenall’s Gin announces the addition of Sicilian Lemon to its range of highly popular ready-to-drink ‘cocktails in a can’.  With the success of Greenall’s Gin’s other RTD variants: Gin & Tonic, Gin & Diet Tonic, Gin & Pink Grapefruit and Wild Berry Gin & Tonic, Greenall’s Gin Master Distiller Joanne Moore looked to introduce a new flavour, Greenall’s Sicilian Lemon, which is now available in Tesco.

Joanne says:  “We are delighted that we’ve been able to introduce one of the world’s first quality gins to so many people via our ready-to-drink cocktails in a can.  Greenall’s has been bringing its classic refreshing, citrus taste to consumers since it was first created in 1761 and I’m proud of the range of interesting flavours we have created in the last 10 years since I was made Master Distiller and custodian of Greenall’s secret recipe.  We’ve blended Sicilian lemon juice with Greenall’s Gin and the resulting drink has a zingy burst of tangy lemon notes, with a refreshing and invigorating taste.”

Greenall’s is the Official Gin of the Jockey Club which owns 15 of the UK’s major racecourses.  In 2015, sales of Greenall’s RTDs at Jockey Club racecourses exceeded expectations, delivering the perfect serve to a new group of consumers.

Greenall’s Gin & Tonic won the World’s Best Spirit & Mixer at the World’s Pre-Mixed Drink Awards plus one Gold and four Silvers for design and taste in the Pre-Mixed Drinks Challenge 2016.

Greenall’s Sicilian Lemon is available at Tesco. Greenall’s Gin & Pink Grapefruit and Wild Berry are available at Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Ocado and Booths.  Greenall’s Gin & Tonic and Gin & Diet Tonic are available at Waitrose and Booths supermarkets.

RRP £1.90 a can.  AbV 5%
