Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin has its official launch in the UK today. This new style of London Dry Gin is naturally flavoured with exotic botanicals carefully selected by Opihr’s Master Distiller, from countries along the ancient Spice Route.
The hand-picked spices include coriander from Morocco, black pepper from India and cubeb berries from Indonesia. These botanicals are then infused in high quality grain spirit from one of England’s oldest distilleries, to create a unique sp iced gin.
Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin is equally versatile in cocktails as well as giving the traditional Gin & Tonic a spicy new twist. Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin fills a gap in the luxury gin category which is currently experiencing a renaissance and has rapidly gained listings in bars and restaurants across the UK. In addition, the exotic pop-up Salon Opihr, inspired by the legendary region of Opihr from the time of King Solomon, will travel round the UK, bringing the tastes and sensations of Opihr’s botanicals and spice markets to venues nationwide.

The name Opihr, pronounced {o-peer}, was inspired by a mysterious location in the Orient, made famous in the time of King Solomon as a source of great riches and exotic spices.
