Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin is delighted to announce that it has been selected as the Official Gin of the charity Elephant Family. This exciting partnership brings together a super premium gin, with strong links to the Asian elephant, with a charity that is protecting Asian elephants and their habitat.

Notes to EditorsThe origin of Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin lies in the Ancient Spice Route. The exotic spices and botanicals, traded by explorers and merchants along the Spice Route, are now used in the distillation of Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin. The gin’s name was inspired by King Solomon’s legendary kingdom, famed for its wealth and riches. The hand-picked botanicals used in its distillation epitomise the intensity of the Orient, with fragrant cardamom, spicy cubeb berries from Indonesia, black pepper from India and cumin and coriander from Morocco.
Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin is distilled by G&J Distillers, who have been making gin of the highest quality, in the heart of England, since 1761. The hand-painted label on the Opihr bottle depicts two exotic Asian elephants and was designed by well-known Spanish artist Andi Rivas.
