ORANGE IS THE NEW PINK: GREENALL’S INTRODUCES NEW BLOOD ORANGE AND FIG GIN

With orange set to be this year’s big flavour in gin, the Original Handcrafted Gin, Greenall’s is launching a new Blood Orange & Fig Gin, adding to its popular zero-sugar flavoured gin range.

Greenall’s Blood Orange & Fig Gin will be available exclusively at Sainsbury’s from March 2019, priced at £16.00 (1L, 37.5% ABV). The new expression will be available for a limited time only, with shipper units in-store to drive visibility and purchase.

The launch of the new expression follows a stellar year for the brand which saw its flavoured gin range grow twice as fast as the category[1], making Greenall’s one of the gin category’s star performers of 2019.

With this unprecedented growth coinciding with the launch of Greenall’s biggest-ever marketing campaign last summer, which highlighted the brand’s status as the only major gin brand to contain zero sugar in its flavoured gins; it would indicate that the consumer appetite for great tasting flavoured gins that aren’t packed with sugar is on the rise.

Greenall’s Blood Orange & Fig Gin taps into the growing popularity of orange flavoured gins and sees Greenall’s Original London Dry Gin infused with natural, blood oranges and an exotic twist of fig. The result is a crisp and refreshing gin that offers a citrusy take on the original classic London Dry Gin, but still contains zero-sugar, as with all Greenall’s flavoured gins.

Created by renowned Master Distiller, Joanne Moore, at the world’s foremost gin distillery, G&J Distillers, in Warrington; Greenall’s Blood Orange & Fig Gin reaffirms the brand’s position as the leader in mindful ‘ginnovation’ – innovation which respects the rich heritage, craftsmanship and traditions of gin, whilst also showcasing the category’s versatility and relevance, with new flavours that complement gin’s intrinsic juniper character.

A versatile expression, Greenall’s Blood Orange and Fig Gin has a light orange hue and is best enjoyed over ice together with premium tonic water or lemonade and sliced blood orange to garnish – making it a simple serve suited to summer social occasions.
