We’re delighted to announce that Quintessential Brands has been awarded the Grand Travel Retail Master Trophy in this year’s Travel Retail Masters 2018!
The trophy was awarded to Quintessential Brands in recognition of the impressive performance of the company’s brands over the last year in Global Travel Retail, one of the most dynamic and competitive markets in the drinks industry today.
Amy Hopkins, chairperson of the awards’ judging panel and editor of The Spirits Business, commented, “Quintessential Brands stormed to success in The Travel Retail Masters 2018, winning copious medals across the vodka, gin, Irish whiskey and liqueurs categories. The group impressed the panel of expert judges throughout the blind-tasting, and by accruing the highest number of points, secured the title of Grand Travel Retail Master 2018.
The group’s gin offering was particularly strong and was praised for its bold flavours and beautiful balance. Its Irish whiskey stable, meanwhile, showcased excellence in production through a wealth of complex taste profiles.
Congratulations to the team at Quintessential Brands on their success – which is testament to the quality and innovation in spirits across the travel retail channel.”
There was further success for Quintessential Brands in the competition with a Travel Retail Master medal awarded to Opihr Spiced Gin, created by renowned Master Distiller, Joanne Moore for Quintessential Brands at G&J Distillers, the world’s foremost gin distillery. The Dubliner 10 Year Old Irish Whiskey, which will soon be produced at the new Dublin Liberties Distillery opening in Dublin later this year, was also awarded the Travel Retail Master medal.

Speaking of the company’s recent awards success, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of Quintessential Brands Group, Enzo Visone, commented; “Seven years after we began the Quintessential Brands journey, it is a source of immense pride for me and for everyone at our growing company to be recognised by our peers in the industry with accolades such as this Grand Travel Master Trophy, and the ISC Gin Distiller of the Year trophy, which we were awarded for the third time in our short history this year.
We’ve worked incredibly hard over the last seven years and the great strides we’ve made in GTR in the last year in particular are testament to the talent and hard work of our team in the channel and the production team at G&J Distillers, who work tirelessly to ensure we achieve the consistent outstanding quality consumers expect from our brands. We’re still only at the start of our journey however and we have much more we want to achieve alongside our customers – the sky’s the limit in Travel Retail after all!”
