Quintessential Brands Announces Senior Appointment

Quintessential Brands, the international drinks company, announces the appointment of Sophie Brown as Group Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect.
Sophie was previously CFO at Leeds Bradford International Airport, the Bridgepoint portfolio company, which she joined in 2008. Prior to this Sophie was Deputy Group Financial Controller for three years at Northern Foods, one of the UK’s largest own label and branded food producers, with over €1.0 billion in revenue. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in London.
Sophie’s role as CFO for the Quintessential Brands Group, which owns G&J Distillers, the UK’s oldest producer of premium London Dry Gin, will encompass the Quintessential Brands operation based in Soho, London, as well as G&J Distillers (formerly G&J Greenall’s) and Essential Drinks, both in Warrington, Cheshire.
Quintessential Brands has appointed Sophie as part of its on-going strategy to create one of the leading European independent international spirits companies.
