The Great British Gin Collection Launches with Innovative On and Off-Trade Joint Promotion
The Great British Gin Collection, made up of Greenall’s The Original London Dry Gin, BLOOM Gin, Opihr Oriental Spiced Gin and Berkeley Square London Dry Gin, has been launched. The first sales and marketing initiative for the Great British Gin Collection begins with an innovative on and off-trade joint promotion with Waitrose stores and M&B’s Escape to the Pub Country Dining Pubs starting in mid-May. www.escapetothepub.co.uk
In a ground-breaking promotion with Waitrose, which stocks all four gins in The Great British Gin Collection #GreatBritishGin and the Mitchells & Butler’s new Escape to the Pub group of country pubs, consumers will have the opportunity to taste the four gins and compare their different styles and flavour profiles. Waitrose staff will be handing out Great British Gin Collection leaflets during the in-store tastings, including a tear-off voucher offering a free G&T from selected Escape to the Pub venues and a promotion in Waitrose with £4.00 off a bottle of BLOOM Gin in store and online.
Waitrose will be holding the Great British Gin tastings in stores over the weekend of 16 and 17 May. The new M&B website www.escapetothepub.co.uk directs consumers to one of over 40 Waitrose stores where they can taste the four Great British Gins and receive avoucher for a free G&T in their local M&B Country Pub
